Classic stories from The Arabian Nights come to life on Petra’s stage this March!
The Arabian Nights is an imaginative adaptation of the collection of Middle Eastern folktales more commonly known as 1001 Nights. Characters such as Sinbad the Sailor, Aladdin, and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves come from this collection.
Our play revolves around the courageous young woman who sets out to heal the broken heart of a king by telling him such stories about love, courage, and loyalty. Along the way, she and the other characters learn a great deal about the nature of grief, pride, and facing your fears. Her fate and fate of the kingdom are tied to her supply of stories, but what will happen when she runs out of stories to tell?
There will be three performances: Friday, March 27, at 7 PM and Saturday, March 28, at 2 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are $10 for General Seating and $20 for Reserved Seating.
