Admissions
Dear Prospective Parents,
Petra Academy is committed to the vision of Christ-centered classical education. We eagerly seek to assist parents in their God-given role to educate their children in the high standard that such a vision demands.
Our admissions process is designed to help both you and us know whether we are a good fit for each other. Do we share a common goal and a common road-map of how to get there? Is your youngster ready to begin kindergarten? What grade level would best serve your eight-almost-nine-year-old? Would your teenager succeed at Petra? Would your daughter be able to pursue her passion for volleyball?What might a typical day at Petra look like?
These are the type of questions we hope to resolve in the admissions process, through availability of ample and accurate information about ourselves, an application form that provides us with information about you, including your own desires for the education and upbringing of your children, an interview both to meet you and to address specific questions or concerns, and an assessment test of your child (grades 1-6) to help determine academic suitability and grade level.
